Happy Home English School was founded in 2006 by Dean Safholm.
I had a vision to introduce the American way of life to Japanese people through the use of the English language.

At Happy Home English School, I aim to teach you in a friendly and relaxed environment. I am dedicated to helping you progress and succeed in learning English and understanding other cultures.

About Dean:  Dean先生について

こんにちは！私は、Deanです。
私は、カリフォルニアで生まれ育ち、1992年から日本で暮らしています。
20年以上英会話を教えています。
趣味は、バスケットボールや野球、アメリカンフットボール、映画、音楽、ボディボードなどたくさんあります。
私の性格は、親切で落ち着いていて、忍耐強く、人の役に立つこと、人を助ける事が好きです。英会話を教える、ということを通して、私の知識を伝えていく事に喜びを感じています。

Hello I’m Dean!

I was born in California and I have been living in Japan since 1992.

I have many hobbies some of which include:

Basketball, baseball, American football, movies, music, body boarding, etc. My personality is kind, calm, patient and I like helping people. For me teaching is a way of giving back to the community. Educating and sharing my knowledge is something that I enjoy.

事務を3年間と講師をしています。
私は、神戸市で生まれて、今は西宮市に住んでいます。
趣味は、海外ドラマを見ることや、ショッピング、食べることです。
海外ドラマを字幕なしで見たいのがきっかけで英語の勉強を始めました。

英会話を学びたいと思っている皆さんのお手伝いができたら嬉しいです。

I have been an office manager for 3 years.

I'm from Kobe but I am living in Nishinomiya.

My hobbies are watching dramas, shopping and eating delicious food.

The reason I started studying English is to watch dramas without subtitles.
